Prescriptions

Some medications will be required on a repeat basis and will be reviewed by the Doctor periodically. The doctor will advise you during your consultation if your medication will be needed to be taken for a number of weeks or months.

You can request a repeat prescription, giving at least 24 hours notice, in the following ways:

• By telephoning the surgery
• Post with a SAE
• Via this website

Please note that your request will be reviewed by the Doctor prior to completion and you may be asked to make an appointment for a review and/or blood test in line with Medical Council guidelines. If you have not been seen in the surgery in the last 12 months, it would be best practice to schedule an appointment at the surgery.

Please allow a minimum of 24 hours, excluding weekends and Bank Holidays, for your request to be processed. Any problems please telephone the surgery.
